#Admin panel

The admin panel (apps/admin) is a static site that talks to the Blend Cloud API. Admins sign in with the same account system plus 2FA. Make a user admin with:

#Users

Search users, view their plan and usage, suspend or unsuspend accounts, and force sign-out. You cannot see profile contents, because they are end-to-end encrypted.

#Plans and promo codes

Plans (Free 10, Starter, Team) live in the plans table. Create promo codes with a percentage, an expiry and allowed plans. Payments are sandbox only until the owner approves going live.

#Releases

Publish a release (version, channel, rollout percent, notes, download URL). The desktop app checks GET /releases/latest and updates gradually by rollout percent.

#Feature flags and announcements

Turn features on for a percentage of users, and post in-app announcements.

#Abuse reports

Reports from the website and app appear in Abuse. Investigate, and suspend accounts that break the Acceptable Use Policy. Keep notes in the audit log.

#Backups

deploy/digitalocean/backup.sh dumps Postgres nightly and keeps 14 days. Test a restore once a month.
