How browser fingerprints work (and why consistency matters)

Every time you visit a site, your browser reveals dozens of small facts: screen size, time zone, languages, installed fonts, graphics card, CPU cores and more. Together they form a fingerprint that can recognise a browser even without cookies.

Random is not private

Many tools randomise these values on every launch. That backfires: a Windows user agent with a Mac-only font, or a time zone that doesn't match the IP address, looks more unusual, not less.

Consistency first

Blend builds each profile from a coherent template: OS, browser version, screen, GPU, CPU/memory and languages that occur together on real machines. It then keeps that profile stable over time, as a real computer would.

Match your proxy

If your proxy exits in Germany, your time zone and language should probably be German too. Blend's proxy test can set this for you.

The honest limit

Fingerprinting keeps evolving and no tool can promise to be undetectable. Use separate profiles for legitimate reasons, such as managing your own client accounts, testing or privacy, and follow each site's rules.
